Gathering Storm Films Ltd is a UK-based development company specialising in premium, IP-driven television drama.
With the launch of its Los Angeles office, the company brings together exceptional writers, creative talent and distinctive IP from both sides of the Atlantic to develop and package high-end scripted series for leading streamers and broadcasters.
Backed by private investment and long-standing relationships across the international television and film industry, Gathering Storm Films is building a slate of ambitious, globally marketable drama for today's premium streaming and broadcast landscape.
Meet the Team
Founder & Executive Producer
Sarah Forbes campbell
Sarah Forbes Campbell is the Founder and Executive Producer of Gathering Storm Films, developing and producing premium television drama, feature films, documentaries and commercials for leading international broadcasters and streaming platforms.
Her work is rooted in IP-led, book-to-screen adaptations and character-driven scripted drama, alongside high-end international co-productions across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America. A speaker at industry events, Sarah was invited to join the producers' panel at the 2026 London Screenwriters' Festival.
Her television credits include Series Producer of Hotel Portofino for PBS, ITV, Foxtel and Sky, and producing The Fear Index for Sky Atlantic in association with Left Bank Pictures. Her feature film credits include co-producing the UK–China treaty feature Untamed, directed by Justin Chadwick; producing Above & Beyond in collaboration with Nancy Spielberg's Playmount Productions; HBO's The Fever starring Vanessa Redgrave and Angelina Jolie; and the award-winning A New Day in Old Sana'a.
Sarah has extensive experience delivering productions in complex international environments, including filming in Yemen and Uzbekistan, working alongside senior government officials and international production partners to deliver major international shoots.
Sarah began her career at Ridley Scott Associates producing high-end commercials before moving into scripted television, where she went on to produce more than fifty episodes of the BBC returning drama series Doctors for BBC Studios.

Executive Producer
Sarah Coursey
Sarah Coursey is an international television and film executive with extensive experience in development, acquisitions, international sales and co-productions. She has held senior leadership roles at Happy Accident, GRB Studios, Inverleigh, Zee TV and Zodiak Rights, building a reputation for identifying commercially successful content and forging global creative partnerships.
As an Executive Producer, Sarah develops and packages premium television drama and feature films across the UK, Europe, the United States and Brazil, specialising in literary adaptations, high-end scripted series and internationally marketable IP. Her expertise in bringing together creative talent and international financing partners has made her a trusted collaborator across the global content industry.
Sarah has negotiated major international distribution deals with leading broadcasters and platforms, including Sky UK, Sky Italia, NBCUniversal, RAI, M6 and Netflix. Her credits include brokering the European distribution of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and concluding multi-million-dollar licensing agreements for premium Bollywood content with Netflix.
Fluent in six languages, Sarah is a frequent speaker at international industry events, including NATPE and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), and serves as a judge for the International Emmy® Awards.

Development Partner
Andrew Cole-Bulgin
Through Tickled Pink Group, Andrew collaborates with Gathering Storm Films as Development Partner on selected projects, including Knockout and Matchmaker-High, bringing his expertise in commercial storytelling and audience-driven development.
Andrew is a producer and creative executive with a proven track record in developing commercially successful literary IP and premium film and television. He produced the global Netflix hit The Kissing Booth trilogy, described by Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos as a "pop culture phenomenon" and winner of the People's Choice Award for Best Comedy Movie.
He also optioned My Life with the Walter Boys, now a hit Netflix series produced by Sony Pictures Television, and served as Executive Producer on the YA series ITCH.
